Cyber Security Awareness
This month Emergifi, along with InterLutions and its business partner Lockton, held a 45-minute educational webinar to better protect credit unions from cyber security attacks. With so many recent and highly publicized security breaches, credit union executives, IT professionals, and risk management teams are recognizing the importance and severity of cyber security, risk, and liability. This webinar helped credit unions understand the variety of cyber-related risks that threaten their organizations, while delivering best practice security measures that can be implemented to protect data. In addition, credit unions learned about the exposures created by GLBA, the potential and risk for financial loss, and an explanation of the various types of insurance coverage that can be utilized to transfer this risk.
