    A Note From Chris

I am very grateful for the chance I had to reconnect with our members and friends, both old and new, at the recent conventions, conferences, and outings. Thank you for everything you do to support and advance our movement. A special thanks goes to The Wisconsin Credit Union League for being a wonderful host for our annual meeting and tremendous partner year-round.

As we progress into summer, and the second half of 2019, I hope you take time to enjoy a break with your families, friends, and loved ones. We look forward to seeing you again at our upcoming fall events.

    Thank you,

    Chris's Signature

Transform Your Credit Union for the Future

The digital world is advancing at amazing speed and it is all connected to the cloud. To succeed, credit unions must embrace digital transformation and new ways of connecting people, data, and processes to create value for members.

Emergifi offers digital transformation services that understand your credit union, strategy, and members to deliver a digital transformation strategy and plan.

“We selected Emergifi for our managed services provider. Since Emergifi works solely in the credit union space, they have the experience in both technology and compliance that is a good fit for us. We appreciate that they listened to our business needs and created a road map to support our situation. We are very comfortable working with Emergifi for our strategic technology direction.” – Michelle McClelland, CFO, Prospera Credit Union

Emergifi and the Redstone Consulting Group (RCG) recently partnered to improve cybersecurity. RCG’s ACET Collaboration Portal helps credit unions save time and resources when preparing for an exam by organizing tasks, enabling role-based collaboration, and providing secure document storage. Emergifi assists credit unions before, during, and after an exam with cybersecurity offering comprehensive managed security, endpoint security, and compliance services. Association Health Plan: The Right Move for Your Credit Union?

Simply stated, association health insurance is just a group health plan where multiple employers join together to offer medical benefits to their employees. By uniting – and increasing the number of participants to where the association qualifies for a large group health plan – the association can design enhanced benefits for employees and negotiate better rates from insurers.

As your credit union evaluates the medical insurance benefits offered to your employees, consider InterLutions’ AHP for Wisconsin credit unions. Studies have shown that premiums would be decisively less for AHP employers compared to those negotiated through the traditional community rated insurance pools. How much lower depends on the number of insured individuals within the AHP and the overall buying power of the group.
