Learn about recent trends and learn best practices with cybersecurity training.
Emergifi recently held cybersecurity best practices training for the Northeastern Chapter of Credit Unions. During the presentation, Emergifi provided examples of recent ransomware strikes that have been attacking local city government throughout the state of Wisconsin. Emergifi emphasized that credit unions of all sizes are a target and may be susceptible to phishing attacks. Emergifi highlighted the need for credit unions to implement an ongoing cybersecurity awareness training program for all staff. Several examples of cybersecurity best practices for staff were discussed and reviewed by Emergifi with attendees. If you would like Emergifi to provide cybersecurity best practices training for your local credit union chapter, please contact Chris Hytinen.

The biggest issues facing healthcare today.

    • Costs and transparency
    • Consumer experience
    • Delivery system transformation
    • Data and analytics
    • Interoperability/consumer data access

In September 2019, MJH Life Sciences™, the largest privately held medical media company in the United States, reported the results of their survey of over one hundred c-suite and director level executives. In that polling, those executives ranked the top ten most critical challenges and issues facing them in the coming year. Not surprisingly, costs and transparency were the number one issue. To read the entire list of challenges, and details for each, please read The Biggest Issues Facing Healthcare Today.

It’s March! Do you know what that means?
March brings the two biggest events of the year. First, the most anticipated event of the year is coming on March 24 and that is QuantyPhi’s ALM Workshop. The workshop will focus on:

    • Duplicating your credit union in your ALM model
    • Understanding what the ALM reports are telling you
    • Lining up your loan portfolio with your investment portfolio (and the rest of your balance sheet)
    • How the benchmarking process allows you to monitor and manage both income and interest rate risk for your entire balance sheet

QuantyPhi’s Balance Sheet Optimization process allows you to make informed, strategic decisions quickly and confidently. This workshop will help you get there quicker. CEOs, CFOs, accounting/ALM staff, as well as ALCO members, will all benefit from attending. You will walk away with a better understanding of best practices to measure, monitor, and manage your balance sheet across the interest rate spectrum.

There’s more! QuantyPhi will host a conference eve dinner for those lucky enough to be in Muskego on March 23. Two things to consider – it will be Italian food and Kevin Chiappetta will be there (probably wearing a sweater vest).

    Learn More and Register

Second, only out shadowed by QuantyPhi’s ALM Workshop, the NCUA basketball tournament will get underway in March. Enjoy the madness as the two biggest events come to you this month.
