Titletown Showdown First Annual Credit Union Challenge Logo

Calling all credit unions! Corporate Central and Special Olympics Wisconsin have teamed up to bring you the Titletown Showdown First Annual Credit Union Challenge. We are challenging your credit union and branches to form flag football teams to compete against each other in an effort to raise money for Special Olympics Wisconsin.

This one-day event will be held on September 15, 2018 at City Stadium in Green Bay, WI, which was the former home turf of the Green Bay Packers from 1925 through 1956. To participate in this 6-on-6 flag football tournament you must be over 18 years of age. The cost to form a team (up to 15 players) is $750 per team. Credit unions are welcomed to register multiple teams for this event. Anyone with or without football experience is encouraged to play.

Don’t miss this opportunity to play against Green Bay Packers alumni. Not enough players? Reach out to family and friends or combine your players with another credit union in your area to form a team. Need assistance? Contact Brittany Jordan at brittany.jordan@corpcu.com for credit unions also looking to form a team.

For a $25 per person minimum donation, friends and family are invited to attend and cheer on their team. Each $25 donation includes a lunch ticket. Additional donations are always welcomed.

In the spirit of friendly competition, we challenge teams to raise $3,000, or more, to receive 15 Lambeau tour tickets. Individual and team prizes are also available. We will also be holding raffles throughout the event for a chance to win signed Green Bay Packer merchandise.

All proceeds collected by the flag football teams benefit Special Olympics Wisconsin athletes and help foster the Special Olympics mission: "To provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage and experience joy while participating in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, Special Olympics athletes, and the community."

The event will go on rain or shine. Please join us for this fun challenge and start forming your teams today!
