Windows 10 Device Refresh – The Cost of Doing Nothing
Every PC older than four years can cost you more than $1,700 a year in maintenance, repairs, and lost productivity compared to a new Windows device. It can also leave you open to cyber-attacks and data breaches that affect more than 50% of small businesses. Watch this special 45-minute webinar about our device refresh program and moving to Windows 10 BEFORE the end of support of Windows 7 in January 2020. The cost of doing nothing is simply too high.

Innovative Funding Models to Lower Your Benefits Spend

Depending on your size, make-up and risk appetite, moving from the traditional fully-insured funding model can significantly reduce one of your largest budget items – employee benefits and healthcare costs. Why Take the Risk?
Too often credit unions are looking for interest rate projections to help them structure their investment portfolio. While this may be strategic, one big question should pop up in the investment manager’s mind. What if the projections are wrong?

Kevin Chiappetta, CFA, President of QuantyPhi, explains in his latest white paper why letting rate projections dictate investment strategy brings unnecessary risk into the credit union’s balance sheet. He also provides suggestions for what the credit union manager should do to construct the investment portfolio. Read the white paper.

If you haven’t already, register for QuantyPhi’s Strategic ALM Conference taking place March 26 and 27 at Corporate Central Credit Union in Muskego, WI. You can view the agenda and register here.

Corporate Central employees at Educators Credit Union's Reality Check Day

Corporate Central staff joined Educators Credit Union for Reality Check Day for the Milwaukee Public Schools. Students are given a fictional occupation, salary, spouse and family, student loan debt, credit card debt, and medical insurance payments. They then walk around to various table-top stations to “purchase” housing, transportation, food, clothing, household necessities, daycare, and other needs. Fortunately, the game also includes a “credit union” to help with their financial needs. Volunteers helped with reality check points, passed out packets to participants, worked individual stands/booths, and assisted with other duties to help facilitate the simulation.
